JUMP TO HOME

This is a collection of information and links that don't belong on any of my other pages, but you may find interesting or helpful nonetheless.
One of the things I will miss most about leaving South Florida after 30 years is the close proximity of the beach.  The section of beach between Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood Florida is considered to be the best beach diving in the United States.

The tropical reef structures and marine life commonly seen in the Keys and Caribbean start to emerge along this area of Florida's shoreline.  While the size and color of the ledges does not equal those seen further South in the tropics, it still makes for an economical day of adventure.

Consider $5 for an air tank fill, maybe $4 gas, $6 for parking and finally $5 for a pizza and coke special on the board walk and it makes for one nice $20 day.

Over the past 30 years, I have logged many underwater hours of beach diving along Hollywood Beach.

Fitness After 40
Several years ago right after I turned 40, I realized I had gotten out of shape and was aging faster than I should.  I decided to enter some of those fitness contests to motivate myself to try and improve my conditioning.  I ended up winning some prizes, free supplements and even appeared in a few magazines discussing diet and exercise for "folks over 40".

Several people have asked me for a copy of my exact diet and exercise regimen used to change my fitness in 16 weeks, so I am making it available here.
